Mew · 30th Celebration

In short

  • 30th Celebration came out on September 16, 2026. Four weeks later, the English cards all have a TCGplayer price (October 12, 2026).
  • The three secret RGB Mew (R, G, B) are in a league of their own: $6,000.27, $5,322.74 and $3,738.75.
  • Without them, the most valuable card of the main set is the special illustration rare Mew ex (152) at $86.48; the Futuristic Rare Mew ex (158) is at $59.90.
  • One of each regular card (without the RGB Mew and the 30 classic reprints) adds up to about $696.

In our first guide to the set, there was no price to show. Now there are, and one thing jumps out right away: the set has two price floors, regular cards that top out under $100, and then three cards worth thousands. Here is the picture for 30th Celebration, using the TCGplayer market price (English cards, US market) from October 12, 2026.

The RGB Mew: red, green, blue

Pokémon publishes no odds for them, and the numbers going around are only estimates from the community, anywhere between roughly 1 in 3,000 and 1 in 20,000 packs. That is why they cost what they cost.

The red Mew R leads at $6,000.27 (cheapest listing $4,989.99). The blue Mew B follows at $5,322.74, and the green Mew G at $3,738.75. The market is thin, with very few copies listed, so these prices can jump around a lot from one day to the next. Counterfeits exist for this kind of card: buy graded copies or from sellers you trust.

On Cardmarket, the three also have a price in euros: €2,777.22 (R), €2,653.27 (G) and €2,517.06 (B). That guide mixes every language, and it's lower than the US market price, so the two don't line up.

The best regular cards

Take the RGB Mew out and the set calms down fast. The special illustration rares lead, and one of them is a Mew again.

1 Mew ex 152 Special illustration rare $86.48
2 Gengar ex 154 Special illustration rare $76.15
3 Mew ex 158 Futuristic Rare $59.90
4 Pikachu ex 150 Special illustration rare $57.59

6 Jirachi ex 155 Special illustration rare $45.16
7 Pikachu ex 149 Special illustration rare $43.32
8 Mewtwo ex 157 Futuristic Rare $42.94

The new Futuristic Rare is only third and eighth: pretty, but the collectors' favourites are the artwork cards.

What about the 30 classic reprints?

The set also holds 30 classic cards from all over the game's history. Most are cheap, but a few stand out: Lugia at $180.13, Charizard at $141.93 and Magikarp at $87.56. Eleven of the thirty are above $20.

At the other end, the 29 Pikachu Rare priced so far cost between about $0.59 and $2.06 each: the 30 Pikachu hunt is cheap, which is exactly why it's fun.

How much does a complete set cost?

Adding up one of each regular card of the English list (68 commons, 18 rares, 12 double rares, 18 illustration rares, 10 special illustration rares, 2 Futuristic Rares and the Pikachu Rares) gives about $696. Special illustration rares alone are about $453 of that, and the two Futuristic Rares $103. Add the 30 classic reprints for roughly $782 more. The three RGB Mew would add $15,062 on their own.
